Are you interested in gardening or local history or wildlife?

Are you interested in being out in the open air?

How about meeting people and learning new skills?

If any of these apply to you then volunteering in Dunorlan Park might be just up your street!!

Volunteer activities are an important part of the management and development of the Park and cover a wide range of activities:

  • Working with Tony Ewins, the Head Gardener , doing tasks such as planting bulbs, clearing overgrown vegetation and even hedge laying
  • Monitoring and recording wildlife in the park
  • Working with the Kent High Weald Partnership (KHWP) on specific projects in the park
  • Other activities which may come up associated with the Friends projects or suggested by interested volunteers.

Tools are provided for volunteers to use, and KHWP have created a free 'pond kit' which they will loan out and which can be used for pond dipping activities from the dipping platforms on the upper pond.

If you are interested there are a variety of contact details!
